USS Bainbridge Named After Captain William Bainbridge of the Barbary Wars

It is interesting that the media did not provide a history of the name of the Navy destroyer, USS “Bainbridge”,  that recently assisted the crew of the hijacked merchant marine ship, Maersk Alabama. 

Research into a book titled To the Shores of Tripoli, by A.B.C. Whipple….reveals the following… 

On March 27, 1794  President George Washington signed “An Act to Provide Naval Armament ” authorizing the construction of six frigates (that would create the U.S. Navy after the Revolution.) The frigates were necessary to protect American merchant ships from attack by the North African “Barbary States” of Morocco, Algiers, Tunis, and Tripoli. Ships in the Mediterranean were routinely taken captive by “pirates”and the crews were taken as prisoners, and held for ransom, or sold as slaves. It became very frequent and was very expensive for the young American nation to pay the ransoms. Americans were sharply divided as whether to continue paying ransoms or use force.  

In 1786, initially seeking to pay a tribute payment, and thereby “negotiate” a peace treaty, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams went to Europe to negotiate tribute payments to the pirates. Asking the Ambassador from Tripoli why they preyed upon the American merchants, the answer was that the North African nations justified war against all non-Muslim nations based on the Islamic Koran; and, Muslims who died during a siege were assured to go to paradise. Jefferson reported the Algerian ambassador’s reply to Congress: 

“Founded on the laws of their prophet, and written in the Quran, all nations who did not acknowledge their (King’s) authority were sinners, and it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every ‘Musselman’ (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise.” 

It is interesting to note during our founding era, like today, there was great concern and debate over how to deal with radical Islamist doctrine permitting and practicing shameless extortion of non-Muslims. Some Americans wanted to talk with them to convince them that their actions were wrong. Some of our citizens and politicians wanted to continue paying ransom, thinking the problem would eventually go away.  

William Bainbridge was a captain of several ships during the Barbary Wars that ensued. Under John Adams Presidency in 1800, he delivered treaty tribute “gifts” (jizya) for safe travel in the Mediterranean to the Dey of Algiers as captain of the USS George Washington. During Thomas Jefferson’s first days as President , in 1801, William Bainbridge was the captain of the USS Essex in what was the first squadron after their construction was completed (consisting of five U.S. Navy frigates) sent to protect American shipping in the Mediterranean. In 1803 Jefferson sent another squadron, and at that time Bainbridge was the captain of the Philadelphia. The Philadelphia subsequently was taken captive at Tripoli and its 307 officers and crew were held captive in Tripoli for 18 months. After negotiation, 296 surviving Americans were released for a ransom tribute of $60,000 and 89 Tripolitan prisoners that the Americans had taken in resulting squirmishes.  

The missing eleven (of the original 307 Americans taken as prisoners from the USS Philadelphia) included 6 who had died in captivity, and 5 who had converted to Islam much to the annoyance of the rest of the crew. The Bashaw of Tripoli offered the 5 converts the choice of staying in Tripoli and living as Muslims, or returning with the Americans. Four of them decided to renounce Islam and go home. The Bashaw of Tripoli regarded this as an insult to Islam. He called his guards to take those 4 men away…One American recalled the look of horror and despair as they passed him. Those four men did not get to go home, and they were never seen or heard from again…. 

Captain William Bainbridge lived to be a Naval Officer in the War of 1812.

Cover Letter Concerning the Constitutional Crisis Surrounding Obama’s Birth Certificate

As requested, I am posting this cover letter concerning the constitutional crisis surrounding Obama’s birth certificate. Please copy it and post unedited as well. Thanks!-MCL

Dear Justice Roberts,

This is an open cover letter and it is being posted on the Internet, you-tube and will be read on a number of radio stations, particularly radio stations around military bases, forwarded to Congress, Senate, Governors of the States and mass media. This legal action, as 20 other actions filed in the past few months is seeking Judicial intervention due to the fact that Mr. Barack Obama, whose father was a Kenyan- British citizen, is not a Natural Born Citizen and is not eligible to be the President of this country. It also states, that Mr. Obama did not prove his citizenship at all, since the state of Hawaii allows issuance of Hawaiian Birth certificates to foreign born children of Hawaiian residents and there is mounting evidence that Mr. Obama was not born in Hawaii, whereby he will not be a citizen at all.

The Plaintiffs in this action are a vice-presidential candidate on the ballot, electors and voters. Majority of the plaintiffs have served years of their lives in the US military and risked their lives, pursuant to their oath to defend the Constitution of this country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The plaintiffs and other members of the US military are deeply concerned about the fact that none of the cases related to Mr. Obama’s lack of eligibility was heard on the merits.

The plaintiffs are also concerned about the following: You have recorded a program “Conversations with Chief Justice Roberts”. Numerous high schools students were flown in to DC and participated in discussion about the Constitution, law and the Supreme Court with you. This program was fully funded by the Annenberg foundation, is it clearly states on the video released, and it appears that as a Chief Justice of the Supreme court you consider Annenberg to be a reputable organization, supporting the Constitution and you support their efforts. The problem with it, is that Annenberg has been employing on their Annenberg Challenge board William Ayers, a non-repentant terrorist that participated in bombing of police headquarters in 1970, Capitol building in 1971 and Pentagon in 1972. As late as 2001, Mr. Ayers stated in NY times interview: “I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel I didn’t do enough”. From 1995 the chairman of Annenberg Challenge was none else, but Mr. Barack Obama. Annenberg has created an offshoot, called Factcheck.org, Annenberg political Fact check, that was supposed to provide unbiased fact check. In reality Annenberg fact check has actively and intentionally defrauded American public in letting them to believe that Mr. Obama is a Natural born citizen and eligible for US presidency.

Definition of Law of Nations (Emmerich De Vettel), stating that natural born citizen is one that is born in the country to parents, that are citizens. They omitted statement by John A Bingham, framer of the 14th amendment, stating that a natural born citizen is one that was born in the US territory to parents that don’t owe alliance to any other sovereignty. Due to the fact that Mr. Obama’s father was not a US citizen and owed allegiance to Kenya and Great Britain, Mr. Obama did not qualify as a natural born citizen and does not qualify for presidency.
Fact check intentionally omitted Hawaii statue 338, that allows foreign born children of Hawaiian residence to obtain a Hawaiian certification of live birth
It omitted the fact that such certification can be obtained based on a statement of one relative only without any corroborating evidence.

It omitted the fact that there was no corroborating evidence of Mr. Obama’s birth from any hospital, nurse or hospital administrator from Hawaii, while there were numerous statements from Mr. Obama’s Kenyan grandmother, Baptist Bishop and ambassador of Kenya about Mr. Obama being born there. If that is the case, Mr. Obama is not a US citizen and will need to go back to Kenya to wait for his Green Card.

As of now American public has only information from Annenberg, a political organization, some of whose members have very questionable moral qualities (to say the least).

My clients, as well as 300 million American, including thousands of members of the military, that are asked to give their lives to defend the Constitution of this country, would like to know, if the Supreme Court Justices, particularly chief Justice Roberts, (that needs to swear the President on the bible), are willing to give a few hours of their time to hear the Oral Argument in defense of this Constitution. They want to know if the justices believe in the Constitution on which this country was built, whether they are prepared to tear it apart in favor of some new world order, conceived by a few billionaires, Trilateral commission and the Bielderberg Group.

Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle sealed Barack Obama’s original birth certificate which proves a Prima Facie case that, but for the fact that he was born in a foreign country, she would not have sealed his original long form birth certificate.

Virginia Governor Endorses Ban on Jesus Prayer

“Gov. Timothy Kaine of Virginia has affirmed his support for a new statewide policy under which state troopers serving as chaplains will not be allowed to pray “in Jesus name,” explaining that he can pray “without mentioning Jesus….”  Read the full story here .

Say what you will, a non-denominational America will turn into an Islamic victory…a Muslim land…. What the Governor fails to understand is that removing Jesus will make it easier for Islamists, who also want to remove Jesus from all prayer..and eventually criminalize Christianity, and then all other religions except Islam. It does not matter what your religion is…Without Jesus, there is no Christianity. So who is this really discriminating against in the long run? The answer is…all non-muslims.

This country was Christian from the beginning…The Christians who came here from England were being persecuted in England. Imperialism was not the agenda. Colonists did not get off the Mayflower shooting at the Indians and scheming how to takeover.

Contrarily, Islam is an invasive species….Islamists have stated that imperialism is the agenda for Islamists in America today, who have stated so.  Omar Ahmed, the founder of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) said “Islam is not in America to be equal to any other faith, but to be dominant.”  

Athiests and others who do not understand what is going on,  will now use this ruling to eliminate Christianity altogether. Once Jesus is out of the way…, Christianity will be out of the way… With Christianity out of the way, Islamists will try to declare officially “Allah” is the same entity as “God”… But that is impossible… because Allah is a slavemaster, whose followers call themselves “slaves of Allah.” The quran says that Allah is a “Great Deceiver.” The God of the Bible is a “Father” and his followers are his “children.” That is a huge difference between Jesus and Allah, thus, the Bible and the Koran. 

If you are an athiest, which religion do you want to prevail?? If you are gay, preferring Islam over Christianity is truly masichistic. If you are a woman, know that Satan hates you. Like it or not, one religion will prevail, and Christianity is far more tolerant than Islam.

If you are a nice person and you let pirates/thugs come into your house, they will eventually throw you out….

John Adams knew this, and Thomas Jefferson kept a copy of the Koran for The Barbary Wars from 1801-1805, but our leaders act “baffled” today. Have post-modernism, liberal secularism removed the yardstick people used to determine right from wrong and good from evil?

You would think that the evidence of knowledge from the past would mean that Islam was a known enemy, but has not been taught as so… Thomas Jefferson fought wars with Muslim pirates who lived by the Koran. That is why he kept a copy of it. The wars he fought were called the Barbary Wars, from 1801-1805. They were to free Americans taken as slaves from American merchant ships. The government spent millions of dollars to get them back at a time when private citizens were financing much of the government from their own pockets, with little or no reimbursements! AND it was the first time a President (Jefferson) initiated a war without Congress approval, so it was very controvercial. He did it while they were adjourned. But the Americans were freed in the end. Jefferson knew from 1801-1805, and Adams knew in 1827, the same thing!
